ALBANY, N.Y. – Brendan Kennedy, a longtime and highly regarded marketing and public relations professional in the Capital Region, has joined The Baker Agency as a director.
In this leadership role, Kennedy will provide strategic counsel and manage key client accounts across the agency’s three offices in Albany, N.Y.; Pittsburgh, Pa.; and St. Petersburg, Fla.

Kennedy joins The Baker Agency with more than two decades of agency experience in public relations, public affairs and marketing. He has earned a strong reputation among colleagues and clients for his expertise in strategic marketing, media relations, digital media, media training, video production and crisis communications.

In addition to his marketing and public relations experience, Kennedy is the co-author of two children’s books with his father, Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist William Kennedy. He has also worked as an online game developer for ABC and ESPN and held a variety of positions on several major studio films.
Kennedy earned a bachelor’s degree from Trinity College.
